Director, EPFL+ECAL Lab (Éole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne)
Born in 1967, he studied to be an engineer at the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, and then to be a journalist. He worked as a reporter for the Journal de Genève, and then for Télévision Suisse Romande, where he presented the news. His independent work led him to become the Artistic Director before joining the EPFL as a president. In 2007, he founded the EPFL+ECAL Lab. Curator of several exhibits presented in venues such as the American Institute of Architecture in New York, the Royal College of Art in London, The Laboratory@Harvard, and the Lieu du Design in Paris, author of several articles and conferences, he was named “Chevalier des arts et des lettres de la République française” in 2011 by the French Minister of Culture and Communication.
